Frequently Asked Questions About Our Exterior Services
Managing multiple exterior improvements takes organized planning and direct communication. Our team guides your project from the initial on-site estimate through the final walkthrough, coordinating material deliveries and scheduling each trade, from siding and windows to roofing and paint. We keep you informed throughout the work and account for factors like Northwest weather to keep your project moving forward smoothly.
Hidden moisture damage is a common issue on Pacific Northwest buildings. When we remove old siding or roofing, our crew inspects the underlying wood framing and plywood sheathing for signs of rot or water leaks. If we discover damage, we assess the area, explain what is needed to fix it, and address the problem before installing new moisture barriers and exterior materials.
Sister Siding backs our projects with a 5-year workmanship warranty covering our installation labor across our exterior services. This labor warranty is separate from any manufacturer warranties covering specific materials, such as roofing shingles or fiber cement siding. During your estimate, our team can walk you through the warranty terms and coverage details for your specific project so you know exactly what to expect before work starts.
