We had JK Paint and their head painter Cesar and crew paint our house and replace massive damaged trim around the outside. The crew did a great job and was super receptive to our comments and requests. They helped us pick the Tuscan colors we were searching for to give our home the Italian feel we were hoping to accomplish. Their rates are amazing and staff was easy to work with and coordinate with. PM onsite Richie was wonderful, got back to us quickly and made sure our touch ups were done in a timely manner. What an awesome find for a local paint company! Let me tell you about all the great people. Jake was the one that first came out and looked at our project 2-3 times before it started. He was awesome, patient and flexible as we talked through all of the details. Then Gabi was sending out great information as the project start date was coming. This helped us make sure our property was ready for the pressure washing and painting. Then the main crew was wonderful. Juan, Alfredo and Domingo were all so nice, fun and professional. They showed so much care as they cleaned up the exterior, prepped all of the surfaces and protected all of the spaces around the exterior. It was always fun and easy to check in with these guys each day. Even when we added a couple small aspects of the project - they were flexible and ready to take on things we didn’t anticipate. Lastly - Jose was great as well. He would stop by each day of the project and give us an idea of what to expect each day, clarified details and answered questions, and then gave us updates on how soon the project would be complete. Overall - all of the staff were so professional and easy to communicate with. Additionally they quoted us at 7-10 days for the entire exterior painting project. They completed it in 5 days. Jose also made sure that if we noticed anything that might have been missed that they would take care of it immediately. JK Paint just completed our home exterior paint and my wife and I are extremely happy. Cesar, Cesar Jr., Daniel, & Cristian all worked nonstop. They were respectful, detail oriented, eager to please, and true craftsman  in their field. My wife and I were impressed with how much pride they took in their work. The field manager (Jose) checked in every morning to ensure all expectations were being met. Every time there wasn’t much to discuss as the team would frequently check in and allow us to give feedback to ensure the work completed was to our satisfaction. From the start to the finish, these people are professional!  Our first walk around convinced me we would be well taken care of. There were a few siding issues which I thought would have been problematic but the person doing the walk around found more than I knew about and fixed everything. The paintwork itself was excellent, the guys picked up every evening and left the final day with nothing I would have had to do clean up!  From the very beginning to the end, they were friendly, polite, hardworking and conscientious. All of our friends know how pleased we are and our 30 neighbors in the loop have complimented the job. The crew supervisor checked in daily to be certain we had no questions. The final product looks beautiful. They even sent a consultant to help us pick up color for our front door. Andrew was fantastic to work with to get our estimate and answered our questions along the way. Jose, the field manager, was very prompt and professional every day, always making sure to keep us up to date. JK'S crew painted the exterior of our house and we are so very very happy with the look. The crew (Oscar, Rene, Ramirez, Camila) were great. They did everything we asked and their attention to detail shows in the final results. There were some repairs needed and they did an excellent job on that too.  They should be proud of their work. We hired jk paint to repaint the exterior of our old house about a month ago now. Jose's crew was very fast and efficient. They had to defer work for two days due to rain, but Jose kept us informed and was available to answer questions.  They put out all the tarp for the lead paint removal and cleaned up well. The crew was very hard working and got the job done quickly, arriving early and staying late to get the job done which we really appreciated. JK Paint just finished painting the exterior of our house and we are quite pleased with the result.  The 3-person team was as fussy about details as we would have been had we done the job ourselves.  They were a delight to have on the property.  We would definitely welcome them back! The JK Paint scheduling process works well.  The scope of work was more thorough than we expected, the color consultant was helpful, and the start date was flexible.  As soon as weather forecasts promised a week of ideal painting weather, they began prepping the house. Everything about this project exceeded expectations.  We recommend JK paint with enthusiasm. JK team painted the exterior of our 1912 3 story house with careful attention to detail. They also painted several rooms inside and were patient and easy with all the final details including helping clean a heavy metal air intake vent that had gotten paint dust in all the crevices ! We had them return to do some extra areas and Jose noted on the after walkthrough that a step needed to be repaired and set a date to get it taken care of. They are really great to work with!!! If you are reading these reviews because you are looking for a painting contractor that does quality work at a reasonable price, then stop searching, you have found them.  We contacted JK Paint & Contracting for an estimate to paint the cabinets in our Butler’s Pantry. The estimator who came out to see our project was friendly, courteous and extremely professional. After seeing what we wanted he gave us a detailed overview of the work they would do from start to finish.  Unlike an earlier estimate we got that included painting the inside of the cabinets, he took the time to explain why we should not do that. The estimate was very reasonable, much less than we expected, and they could start within two weeks.  A week later they contacted us and said they could start the next day. Three painters showed up to prep and remove the cabinets. They did a fantastic job of taping and covering the walls, floor and ceiling in the pantry area.  They even protected the floor from foot traffic from the front door to the pantry.  They too were very friendly, courteous and really did a thorough job of protecting our belongings. By early afternoon everything was protected and doors were taken to be painted.  The next day they painted everything and installed all the doors and drawers.  They took extra time to align, adjust and tweak everything to the point where they operated much better than before. We are extremely happy with the work they did, the team that did it and the price we paid.  We will use JK Paint & Contracting for our next painting project.

I am very late writing this review (it’s now late January), but I have thought about this act of kindness many times since November and didn’t want to let it go unshared. We contacted JK Paint in November to hang Christmas lights at my dad’s house in Newberg. It was likely his last Christmas — he has a terminal illness — and all of his kids were coming into town for the holidays. My mom had also passed away just one year prior very suddenly, so this last Christmas meant everything to our family. The technician came out, walked the exterior house, and explained their normal process, including storing the lights after the holidays and offering a discount for rehanging the following year. We let him know this would be a one-time install due to my dad’s condition. He went out to his car to write up the quote, came back in, and told us that the owner wanted to do the entire job for free. I cannot adequately describe how moving that moment was. My family — especially my dad — are the people who are always giving to others. We’re fortunate and have a strong support system, and we never expect or receive charity. This generosity brought us both to tears and is something I will never forget, ever. True to their word, JK Paint hung the lights beautifully, removed them after the holidays, and the entire experience cost us nothing. No fine print. No conditions. Just pure kindness. Thank you, JK Paint, for giving my dad (and our family) a Christmas memory that will live with us forever. Your compassion meant more than you’ll ever know. They heard about my grandma not being able to put up Christmas lights for the first time since her cancer diagnosis, and they decided to sponsor her and did their Christmas light service for free!!
